But what could be the underlying purpose?
A deranged king. Numb's brother and target for revenge.
Born a mere minute after Numb, the throne would never be his. And so he plots to assassinate his brother and steal the throne for himself.
This is Rita Arai. Dubbed an undefeated general and the only daughter of Tadashi Arai, she was a close associate and bodygard of Numb’s during his reign as king.

Her weapon is a katana affixed to her shamisen. She is a Kodachi-jutsu user.
This is Kanon, a mechanic, engineer, hacker, and prisoner.
She was recruited by "The GOD" to provide Numb with technical support.
While as a prisoner, she made a pact with "The GOD" to buy her freedom and agreed to accompany Numb on his journey.
