Takashi Okazaki

llustrator, comic artist, and character designer. Author of Afro Samurai.
From 1999, he self-published the manga Afro Samurai in the magazine Know-how. An anime adaption was later released with with Samuel L. Jackson as the producer and voice actor. It was broadcast on TV in North America on SPIKE TV and was received extremely well. The following sequel Afro Samurai: Resurrection was nominated for the best feature-length anime at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards.He also provided the character designs for Star Wars Visions: THE DUEL, Ninja Batman, and Sound& Fury; avatar design for the movie Summer Wars, Belle; the poster art for the manga Ghost of Tsushima; and cover art for Marvel comics among many others.
